A woman dressed as a construction worker. The words "Back Issues" are spray painted on a brick wall behind her and she's dumping copies of a Hustler out of a wheelbarrow. It was an actual ad from Hustler Magazine to order back issues of the magazine.

More about the release
2 Notes

"Back Issues" was originally released on EPIX in 2014 as well as Netflix, and several other streaming services throughout Europe. It has been out of circulation for a few years and we wanted it to be around again, but we did not want to start haggling with the streamers for pennies.

"Back Issues" features interviews with publisher Larry Flynt, employees, models, editors, photographers, attorneys, etc. "Back Issues" chronicles the personalities and pictures of Hustler Magazine, the most offensive publication of all time. This is the definitive documentary on the legendary magazine, this eye-opening film explores how Flynt's fledgling pages went from the nightclubs of Ohio to the glitz and glam of Hollywood, and how the Hustler brand is adapting to pornography in the 21st century. Director Michael Lee Nirenberg's father was one of the original art directors during the height of its success and controversy.

There will be an uncensored blu-ray announcement later this year.

Soundtrack

We should mention that that soundtrack has Poison Idea, Circle Jerks, Jersey Trash, Gang Green, and a few others I can't recall right now. We felt punk was more appropriate given the content rather than the porno music cliche. In retrospect I should have used Patrick Cowley.

Photos

We'll be adding more photos and stuff. Going through all my old work and re-releasing this stuff brings you to hard drives and notebooks you forgot all about.
